In collaboration with yoga teacher, Charlotte Bolton, this workshop is focused on the gut microbiome, its pivotal role in gut health, all-round health and what we can do to best support it.
We know that diet, stress and exercise influence our gut microbiome. I will explain a bit of the developing science behind that, but we will also be doing some very hands-on practice, to give you some day-to-day strategies to better care for your microbial self.
You will make sauerkraut and I will show you how to make some fermented drinks. Interspersed amongst this, Charlotte will guide you through some yoga and mindfulness practice, carefully crafted to focus on stress relief, which will support gut function. We will share a delicious, nourishing lunch together to give you some inspiration for eating and drinking with gut health in mind.
