Free fermentation workshop and culture exchange co-hosted by Tara Whitsitt of Fermentation on Wheels and Austin Durant from Fermenters Club.

LEARN: Tara and Austin will discuss food fermentation and talk about the history and benefits of fermenting foods. They\’ll also show you how to start making fermented foods at home using local and seasonal ingredients – loaded with healthy \”probiotic\” bacteria.

EXCHANGE: Check out the Fermentation on Wheels starter culture collection and bring your own cultures to share and exchange with others.

SAMPLES: We\’ll have some fermented goodies such as kimchi, sauerkraut and kombucha to taste

DO IT YOURSELF: Stick around to actually make your very own batch of fermented food to take home
