Summer Solstice Forage & Ferment

Come and celebrate the Summer Solstice by joining us for a foraging walk, a wild & seasonal lunch and a wild fermentation workshop with Emma of Wild Pickle

Within the boundaries of this beautiful organic farm, The Rare Dairy, Emma would love to share the beauty of this sacred landscape, taking you on a guided walk, learning how to safely identify plants & forage for flavoursome wild seasonal ingredients, and beautiful herbs that Becky has planted in her spiral herb Garden. We will return to the Rare School and turn those tasty ingredients into delicious ferments for you to take away and enjoy!

In this lovely space we’ll create a sauerkraut, which is a great way to introduce lacto fermentation and we’ll also create a wild kimchi.

We provide everything you need to create your ferments. Please bring a little basket/cotton bag for any wild greens we may pick up on the way, to add to your ferments and to take your ferments home with you at the end of the day.
