Love it or hate it (25% of Japanese hate it) everyone agrees that natto is an amazing health food. For me it was love at first stinky bite. Twenty five years later I am still in love with natto. In this class we will learn how to make natto from scratch from the Natto King himself. We will learn various ways to serve natto, including ways to suppress the strong taste and stickiness. Also we will try some easily available store bought brands and learn to read the phrase that should be added to every Japanese phrase book: “These soybeans have not been genetically modified.”
