Registration fee: $80.00*

*A limited number of spots will be reserved for students from Fisk University, Meharry College, Tennessee State University, and Vanderbilt University. Through generous financial support, these limited spots will be provided with registration fees waived. Students interested in attending the event can register by emailing nashbrewconf@gmail.com. Please include your name, institution, and a brief (1-2 sentence) statement of why you wish to attend. First come first served.

Must be 21 or older to attend.

The History, Business, and Science of Brewing

Our goals for this conference are to educate students and residents of the middle TN area on the historical and vocational aspects of brewing, as well as to increase gender diversity within the brewing community through targeted career development sessions. Topics include:
Session 1: The Science of Brewing
Session 2: The Culture and Deep History of Brewing
Session 3: Careers in Brewing and Starting Your Own Brewery

What can you expect from attending the conference?
– Learn about brewing culture, past and present
– Explore how diversity impacts the future of the brewing industry
– Engage with with local Nashville brewers, owners, and other industry experts
– Networking opportunities for those interested in brewing law, distribution, and business management
– Discover the science behind brewing and fermentation
