For each of us, our relationship to food brings up deeply personal and engaging questions. These questions are like a web, connecting a wide range of different aspects of our experience: health, culture, family, identity, spirituality, self-image, and expression, to name a few. These questions also connect us intimately with our environment and are inseparable from how we feel about ecology, animals, plants, and our relationships to those around us. In this pre-conference workshop we\’ll delve into these questions, sharing as we feel able and inspired. We\’ll find commonalities and differences, and leave with a deeper sense of what lives within us when we make choices about food. This will not be a \”how to\” workshop, but rather an experiential adventure that connects us more deeply to the mystery of our embodied life. This Preconference Workshop runs from 9am-Noon.
