Now in its fifth year, Ferment Change is an annual, volunteer-run celebration of fermentation culture that takes place throughout the Bay Area. The event features live music, fermentation workshops (kimchi, sauerkraut, sourdough bread) and culture swaps. Sliding scale donation of $10. Proceeds from the event go to support Phat Beets Produce, a food justice collective.
The event will take place Friday, 11/22/13 at the Firehouse Art Collective near Ashby BART station in Berkeley from 7-10 p.m. Street address is 3192 Adeline St., Berkeley.
