Fermented Tumeric

Q:  How do I ferment turmeric? I hear fermented turmeric has much stronger antioxidant effect etc.
A:  I would probably just add turmeric to other foods I was fermenting like sauerkraut or kimchi. To ferment fresh turmeric roots alone.Try grating them, sprinkle with a little salt, and weight it down in a crock like sauerkraut.
