Hi all. I'm really new at this so forgive the lack of knowledge and correct terminology. I just made my second batch of ginger bug soda. My ginger bug so far hasn't caused too many problems and my first soda turned out pretty well all things considered. I made a second soda (different flavour) and it's been fermenting 8 days now with zero carbonation (?) The storage and temperature has been the same so I'm not sure what the issue is. It smells and tastes just fine it's just not fizzy. I wondered if it's safe to drink as I thought I could just add it as "mixer" to some plain soda water rather than waste it?
