Sunday’s class will run from 12:30pm – 3:30pm and will include a discussion on nutrition and digestion, an intro to “wild” fermentation, country wine, and basic fermentation recipes.
Monday is time for hands on fun! Class will run from 12:30-4:30pm, and participants will get down and dirty learning how to make ginger beer, kombucha, j\’un (a newly acquired beautiful sister to kombucha made with green tea and raw honey!) sourdough bread, GLUTEN-FREE sourdough, 2 types of cheeses, 2 types of yogurt, water tibicos, pickles, AND fruit scrap vinegar. Later in the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to make (and take home) their own individually-created jar of raw sauerkraut.
Tuesday afternoon will include a follow-up discussion and a delicious probiotic-filled lunch, with samples of many of the goodies made the previous day (including homemade country wine!).
The event will be held at La Casa de Love Probiotics in San Marcos, La Laguna, Guatemala (our town is very small so there are no numbers for addresses) and if anyone would like to get in touch with us, they can contact us at:
facebook.com/loveprobiotics or firstname.lastname@example.org
Or they can call us at 502 4999 6682.
Also, if anyone can’t make this workshop, we will be hosting them every month until June 2015.
