Introduction to Fermented Foods

Learn about the benefits of making your own probiotic foods in this fun, informative three hour class. Taste lots of different fermented classics and see how easy it is to make these nourishing foods at home. Fermented foods are cheap and simple to prepare once you have the basics. Learn about kefir and kombucha, water kefir and kvass and how easy they are to make. Fermented foods are easy to prepare and delicious to eat. In this workshop you will make your own spicy kimchi, a classic sauerkraut and some pickled veggies. Build up your store cupboard and more importantly, your good gut flora. Help eliminate symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, depression, digestion, IBS, hormonal imbalances and many other disorders that might be making your life less than perfect. Enjoying fermented foods contributes to increased energy and vitality, improves mood and helps you sleep. All recipes are given to take home and plenty of tasters can be enjoyed on the day.
