Berkshire Fermentation Festival!

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is taught by others (not Sandor).

Berkshire Ferments invites you to the first ever, Berkshire Fermentation Festival on October 17th from 10-4pm at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds! There will be cultured food vendors sampling and selling their products, workshops, DIY demos, lectures, music and more! This is a free, family-friendly event, and we hope that people will spend the day tasting, learning and supporting local businesses. We are excited to connect local fermentation educators and businesses with food enthusiasts in a day of education and empowerment!

Come participate in workshops and lectures, meet local fermenters, check out what our fermentation vendors have to offer, and participate in the social ferment.

Berkshire Ferments is a collective of fermentation enthusiasts and community builders. We are here to help our community reclaim important and ancient food traditions through educating and celebrating the world of fermented foods. We bring together Berkshire foodies, fermentation enthusiasts, bacteria farmers, & fans of lactic acid while educating and reclaiming traditional food practices. We hold potlucks, gatherings, workshops and more all circulating around the idea of education of cultured foods.
